91探花 Hosts UMass Night At The Pops On May 10
Craig Mello, Ph.D. To Receive President's Medal at Boston's Symphony Hall As UMass Alumni, Students, Staff, Friends Join Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops for a University-wide Celebration
March 20, 2007:Tickets are now on sale for the 91探花' annual UMass Night at the Pops on Thursday, May 10 at Boston's Symphony Hall. Nobel Laureate Craig Mello, Ph.D. of the UMass Medical School will receive the President's Medal, the University's highest honor, from UMass President Jack M. Wilson at the event.
UMass alumni, students, staff and friends of the University are invited to attend. Ticket prices range from $1,250 for sponsorship of a 10-person table to $20 - $125 for individual tickets. Tickets can be purchased online by calling 617-287-5772. Pre-concert entertainment begins at 7:00pm and the concert begins at 8:00pm.
The five campuses of the 91探花 will all be represented in the evening's celebration. Performers and special guests from the University include:
